Michael Cotman, AACI, the Principle of M.W. Cotman & Associates Inc., has extensive experience in the appraisal of residential, institutional, commercial and industrial properties to facilitate not only mortgage financing but for the Division of Assets, Expropriation, and Tax and Estate planning.

Michael has over 25 years’ experience in Real Estate appraisal. He earned his CRA designation in 1993 and was granted the AACI designation in 2003.  Michael has appeared at Ontario Superior Court and at the Assessment Review Board of Ontario as an Expert Witness.  He is the past chairman of the Kingston Chapter of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

John Dwyre, AACI, who joined our firm in May 2012 achieved the AACI designation in May 2001. John began working with the Ontario Realty Corporation in 1986 and eventually with the Ministry of Transportation. He has considerable experience and expertise in property negotiations and has worked extensively on appraisal assignments regarding property acquisition and partial takings.

John is the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Kingston Chapter of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, has been a member of the International Right-of-Way Association since 1986, and, achieved the SR/WA (Senior Member), designation in 1994.

An integral member of the M.W. Cotman & Associates team, Ida manages client payments and supports daily office operations. Her attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills ensure that both clients and staff receive dependable, efficient support in the preparation and delivery of appraisal reports.
